I do agree with it. It may not be easy but it takes research and work to find good jobs. If you talk to enough people and ask for advice and research the advice, you are ahead of the game. Nothing great is easy. It takes work, plus you may learn something new and by networking you are building your references.

Yes! 80% of jobs (can't remeber where I read that) never are publicly released. Knowing people and having a network is vital.

Yeah SGT Alexander Hildenbrandt it is an important rule and one you don't learn until you leave the service and you join civilian employment. Working with HR and recruiting to see how they always look for "who you know" first, then begin looking at the world wide web.
