For those of you who interact with me a lot on here you know I am generally sarcastic and do not take much seriously. This topic is one that is near and dear to my heart. 30 years ago tomorrow, 248 Soldiers from 3/502nd Infantry were killed in plane crash coming back from Egypt. As a young Private, my first unit was A co 3/502nd Infantry. Every year we honored those who didn't make it home. As the unit no longer exists because it was converted into a cav unit, I felt it necessary to make sure we do not forget those who were lost.

Rest easy brothers...Strike and Kill

To quote my Dad (he was Army Air Corps in WWII and Air Force during Korea) “All gave some and some gave all”! I remember this day to honor those 248 Infantry men who gave all! Thanks for the history lesson and for your commitment to remember your fellow soldiers!
