NGB-22 form. Am I supposed to get one after 47 days of being on full time orders?

So I was on Full time National Guard Duty - Operational Support(FTNGD-OS) orders for 47 days. Now I am back to only drill weekends. Am I supposed to receive an NGB-22 OR DD 214 for that? Or is it only after 90+ days of orders that one receives those forms?

DD-214s are for Title 10 orders and Title 32 that's over 90 days. It should reflect on your RPAS, ask your Readiness NCO or Training NCO if they can pull that for you, probably a good idea to keep an eye on that anyways, especially if you're thinking about doing 20

1LT Ryan Millican Excellent advice LT. Actually every Soldier should review their NGB23 annually(birth month checks). Also with IPERMS any and all orders a Soldier goes on now is put in their IPERMS.

Just your local friendly Readiness NCO..lol.

I see you're at FT Chaffee. I was in the last rotation there for JRTC. Yeah I'm aging myself. We did get into a "minor" altercation with some Soldiers from the 82nd on that rotation(I was 101st). Ahhh the good old days..lol

SFC Tim Springman, I think that was before my time, for sure lol. And I agree, I never understood it in my "younger" days, but now I look at it and think about all the missed opportunities I had that could have given me more points, espcially when I was 40 points from getting my O1E upon commissioning (Reg states that you either need 4 years AD or 1460 points, I had 1420 upon commissioning) and I think we started reviewing ours every January but I like the idea of birth month better.

1LT Ryan Millican Everyone's NGB23 will be different. It is based off of your AYE(anniversary year ending). That's the year/month you signed the dotted line(first time).

There is another post around here talking bout correspondence course and points for retirement. I would highly recommend looking it up. I put some good info on there for Mday Soldiers dealing with points. Esp for retirement.

That would be good to look into and yeah I'm going to try and get my younger Soldiers educated on the NGB 23 so that way they know how important it is.

Thanks everyone. I called JFHQ and I don't receive an NGB 22 or DD 214 for my 47 days of duty. I was actually cut new orders the day after that to go to school for 78 days and I should of got a DD214 for that they said. So I'm in the process of trying to get that.
