If you look at the context of the events, the Pope did not campaign for nor against a candidate, but was asked a question which he gave his opinion. It happened to "apply to a candidate" which is a different argument.

Pope has seriously overstepped. He is a hypocrite. Disclaimer: I'm NOT a fan of Trump.

How is the head of the Church a hypocrite? Do you mean you don't think the Pope is Chrisitian?

I think the argument can go back and forth of whom is a Christian or not. I believe God knows those that belong to him that profess him as their Lord and Savior.

The Pope is NOT a ruler / leader of countries. Kings, Czars, Prime Ministers, Presidents , even Dictators.and other titles are responsible for the protections of their countries and to lead their governments. The Pope has overstepped. A person is a Christian based on the relationship they have with Jesus Christ through salvation and it is Christ who will declare who are His own - not other men in the flesh regardless of their religious position, be they an elder, minister, pastor, bishop, priest, cardinal or Pope. (And the multitude of other titles out there).

SGT Efaw (Mick) G. - I believe you will find the Orthodox Catholic Church claims the same date of origin. While there are many elected earthly leaders, it is Christ who reigns supreme.
