In the USA is it more acceptable to be outspoken against religion, such as mocking Christians vs. mocking Muslims?

Thank God, yes. It is one of the great freedoms enjoyed by Americans. It keeps us from taking ourselves too seriously.

Yes. I person can say whatever he or she wants too. The 1st amendment has been practiced for hundreds of years. So, if someone says something to offend you. Get over it. Stress is only 10 percent. The 90 percent is YOU, how YOU react to the stress. So, take the islam way, flush it down the toilet. "Deal With The Suck". Have a nice Airborne Day!

Yes and No ! I despise the fact we are 'not allowed' to say certain phases in specific environments i.e.: Happy Holidays vs. Merry Christmas , no more Pledge of Allegiance, remove the word GOD , singing of the National Anthem...
Yes to Freedom of Speech BUT PC is is exhausting! We should be allowed to speak our language as a 'real' ( not in a rude or discriminatory way) person and not be fearful we may "offend someone's feelings".

I'm not sure what country your living in... however I've never been told I had to say Happy Holidays, the pledge of allegiance is still recited every day in school here, the word God is used commonly and we still sing or listen to the national anthem before sporting events.
That said, I do sometimes say Happy Holidays unless I know the person celebrates Christmas. I don't recite the part of the pledge that states "under God" because the only thing we are under in this country are the spirits of selfishness and greed, I'd prefer not to refer to them as God.
