Say if you have an NCO that never shows on time left the SPC or below to do the job of the entire shop and the lower rank gets in trouble for doing right because the NCO looks bad.

Spc. Davis, simply put it is never right to bend the regulations for an NCO. It sounds to me that maybe you have a SGT instead of a NCO in your shop. NCO's take charge and lead from the front.

I ran into difficulties with that SGT a lot, I was told since I am a SPC i don't deserve respect. Every Time I showed the command the regulations on the right way I was always dismissed and when shit hit the fan I was to blame. What is a lower enlist supposed to do? I ended up being tagged with poor duty performance because I stood up for myself and called them out on the regulations. I am not to sure how it is supposed to be I always had great leaders until I PCS'd to Bliss and then kicked out on my butt for poor duty performance. Which now is stuck in my head and I cant function in the reserves now. I am afraid to do what is right.

Everyone deserves respect commensurate with their ability. Lower enlisted must respect the rank, but a useless soldier is a useless soldier regardless of rank and someone higher up the chain needs to be notified if someone is abusing their authority.
IG is there for a reason, your career is not something to be destroyed to protect someone who isn't worth protecting.
Document everything and go have a discussion with JAG; they can give you further guidance.
