I am prior service USAR, my MOS at the time I seperated was 51H30, I was in the reserves, for 7.5 years as a drilling soldier, and 1.5 years IRR, for a total of 9 years. I am currently 46 years old. What is the maximum age I can re-enlist back to the USAR or National Guard? Or have I passed beyond that age already? The reason I am asking is I was thinking about becoming a civilian employee, but as I understand it, you need to be in the reserves to do so. Thank you all for any info.

When I was looking a few years ago they had raised the age to 40 plus years served up to max 46.

Last I heard was 36 off set by time in service Stan. Call a recruiter and ask.
