So a couple things with this post. First I am interested in how many fans of Warhammer there are out there... personally I cannot get enough.
And second, there is a new game coming out called Eternal Crusade that is looking to be extremely awesome. It will not come out for like a year, but there is a lot to look forward too!
I can't remember what it gets but people who already signed up can give out codes to people that give bonus points or something. This is mine: EC-M7Z123XB2RJYZ
Anyways, more than anything I am curious to find some other fans out there. Anyone interested in the game can go to the first link i add after this and anyone interested in joining my obsession can go to the second one (or just ask) for uncomfortable amounts of information on the topic, haha

Wow... Haven't touched Warhammer 40k in about 20 years (I think I still have my miniatures tucked into a box somewhere in the basement).
I may be 'cyber' now, but there was something about doing all the prep with the figurines (painting, mounting, etc) that had a quality of its own.

I have started some miniatures, but I am more into the games, books, and fanfic of my own chapter than anything... Painting those things are tough!

Just recently (like a little over a year ago) I got into Warhammer with some coaxing from a buddy of mine at my last duty station. Built up a Tyranid army that still needs to be painted all the way, but I picked up a couple other factions along the way. Currently, I have a small Grey Knights list and I'm building up an AdMech War Convocation. Thought about throwing in some LotD with my Grey Knights just to give them a little extra kick, as well as a Librarius Conclave with my War Con to get some psychic buffs.

What do you play? I prefer the Space Wolves, though I love bits and pieces from darn near all of them, so my fanfic chapter is a rag tag bunch of them all so I get to play them all. Though I guess play is not really the right word, yet. Maybe one day when I have a good enough army painted that I am willing to really show in public.
I actually just bought a domain name for my army for fun... nothing on it yet but I think i will have it ready to publish in a couple weeks. I am trying to update all the code and of course fanfic is always a work in progress...
I am really itching to start painting again... maybe i will be better the second time around. Just waiting to try and pay off more debt before handing my paychecks to GW...
