I wonder whether it may be worthwhile to consider updating and extending this patent based on user / admin experience to date?

I also wonder whether the basic structure / claims may appeal to similar hierarchical foreign military organizations . . . UK, DE, FR, IS?

There are many ways to connect people.  You could do it by command, but in the case of Veterans, the time they were at a command may not overlap a person's on Active Duty.  You could do it by rank and service, but again I really don't see what meaningful information you can draw from that.

Where I think RallyPoint differentiates itself from other social networks is this concept of Influence where others evaluate what you have to say and unlike Facebook, which only allows for up votes, you can also be down voted for your comments.  It's sort of self-regulating in the sense that annoying people will not have the same level of influence as those who are respectful and thoughtful contributors.  And influence is one of the things people can look at when they are soliciting advice from the RP Community.

I also like the idea of Rally Point being a forum where Active Duty and Veterans can come together to ask questions and share experiences...  It's always good when you can emulate the successes of others and avoid the pitfalls of what others had to go through to gain the experience they did.

In general, the Admins do a good job of moderating the discussions, and drawing potential Admins from the community is another bonus as far as RP being able to keep up with and manage all the different discussion threads.

Ma'am,

You posed an interesting question. I'm very interested in reading the founders' response.

While RallyPoint's design is functional, I believe that the visual, interactive org chart is already available or can be derived from networking platforms that utilize the domain structure: Novell, Cisco, etc. Still, I think that some large U.S. corporations such as Walmart and Amazon might be interested in using a platform like this.

What do you think, SSG Laureano Pabon and SPC K P?

Join nearly 2 million former and current members of the US military, just like you.
