Does anyone know the reg on obtaining retirement points for Continuing Medical Education?

Sir, I do not have the reg in front of my, but as of my latest correspondence with HRC, it is still a 3/1 CME to retirement point transfer. My correspondence was as of approx 2 months ago. Though I was also informed that as of 2016, the points calculation was no longer granted for distance education or online CME activity, only residential courses.

that was my understanding, as of (I believe) 7/16 distance learning was not going to be allowed, but anything earned prior to that time could be submitted for credit.

Have you checked with the S-1 they should be able to locate it or Retirement services... or what ever they call it Now...

I would talk to your installation Soldier 4 Life program. They would have all the informations related to retirement/retirement points
