I still have the cotton and nylon TA50 and some of my dads from WWII. Interesting to see. I wore at least 3 of those uniforms.

That is an outstanding Video. I am going to give you two more because I know how the army loves changing Uniforms. Mexican-American War 1846-1848. And a pic of Teddy Roosevelt as a Rough Rider in the Spanish-American War of 1898.

Obviously film meant "240 years of US Army uniforms in 2 minutes". Why the hell is a confederates states uniform in there? The confederacy rebelled AGAINST the United States of America. That uniform has no place in a history of US Army uniforms. How about a film "240 years uniforms of the US Army's enemies."

Maybe a minor criticism, but the Interceptor Body Armor System he is wearing in the photo for Operation Just Cause had not yet been invented. It was not announced until 1998, almost 10 years after Just Cause. He should be wearing a flak jacket in the picture, not an IBAS without the collar or groin pieces. I only care because I was there for the transition from flak jacket to IBAS. Otherwise a good video.

In 30 years, I wore 5 of these uniforms stating with the pickle suit, BDUs, DCUs, ACUs, and Multi-cam. Additionally, I wore the OG507 jungle fatigues in at Fort Benning for IOBC and Ranger School and the chocolate chip desert uniform in the Sinai in 1987.

Well the Gulf war uniform is incorrect. The one shown is the early War On Terror (both operation Iraqi freedom and enduring freedom in Afghanistan) officially known as the DCU (desert camouflage uniform). The Gulf War, commonly referred to as Operation Desert Storm's uniform was similar to the DCU but it had black specks of camouflage which helped it earn the nickname the chocolate chip uniform. The official name was the DBDU Desert Battle Dress Uniform.

We didn't have that type of body armor for Just Cause, we were wearing the old flak vest.
