No you do not, and given you are a Sergeant of Marines all I will give you is this MCO P5060.20 W/CHANGE 1. Drill and Ceremonies Manual

Always salute Old Glory. Refer to your general orders, or the USMC Drill Manual, USMC Flag Manual, (sure I'm missing some) for extra guidance.
