What helicopters do the Army Reserve pilots operate?

Just looking for comparisons. I read the guard lost all apaches in 2014/15, is that true? And are there any apache pilots in the reserve? Thanks

The Army made a decision a few years ago to bring all the AH-64s into the Active Component. That takes a few years to accomplish. The Army Reserve currently has Blackhawks (UH and MEDEVAC), Chinooks and fixed-wing aircraft.

Both may have a wait list for flight school. You should find out which is quicker. I recommend you ensure you have an up to date FAST and have checked if you may need any waivers.

From the looks of it now, all USAR units that fly fall under the 11th Aviation command out of Ft. Knox. They used to have Apaches but since 2014 those have been gradually moved from Reserves back to Active, they now fly Black Hawks and Schnooks if I spelled it correctly. They also have some fixed winged aircraft they fly as well, specialized units. Cannot say what the Guard has currently.

There are no Apaches in the reserves anymore. A couple states still have Apaches though.
