Love this place. Close to Nashville, Chattanooga. Great drive down to Pigeon Forge. It is a small post with a great PX and Commissary. I have been here for 14 years

One of the best thing about FT Campbell is Nashvegas. Also being station there you might be able to go Air Assault as a fill in.

Its more like a little over an hour. 60 miles down 24.

It's a good base to start off at. It was my first duty station in 1992 with 5th SFG(A). I know it's grown quite a bit since I left but I'm sure there's still a lot of good stuff there. Nashville is only about 45 minutes away too.

Yes with us CAV folks we don't need a glass or canteen - a boot or a Stetson works just fine.
