Often I've seen that we don't necessarily want to start a discussion but rather just blow off some steam or say what on our minds.  Maybe even get some feedback like "yea I hear ya brother" or "you should calm down, it aint that bad" or  just a simple "hooah!"
You could have the option to even make yourself anonymous maybe too?  Or maybe it only stays visible for 24 hours?  I don't know, just a thought for something that may be a need.

For the moment, I think you'll just have to tag it as a "rant" or "humor" for CPL F.

Right now its easier for the team to leave it all as a single thread, and part of it I think is their intent for the site. There aren't a lot of ways for vets and retirees to stay involved and assist professionally keeping lessons learned alive. USAWTFmoments, DV, duffelblog and others cover humor and rants fairly well.

Interesting thought.  Not sure about the feasibility though.  Speaking as an active duty service member, we have responsibilities when it comes to conduct with social media.  An outlet like that may open a "Pandora's Box" where an unrealistic believe of anonymity exists.  That would be a place where there would be all the rope in the world available for Soldiers to hang themselves with (figuratively speaking).
