Rally Point is proving it's worth every day.  I am learning things much faster and more comprehensively than I would have otherwise.
For example I just learned about the new AER policy that went into effect on 1 January.  Other than on here, I hadn't heard a whisper of this important change.
What are some examples of what you have learned in the forum?

There are plenty of people who served and actually care about what is going on in here and those serving what to do in mgt, situations.  With the new terminologies and those of other services.

It can be a vital place for support or mentorship and specifically military protocols about saluting,  stolen valor and issues with benefits as well as time honored customs.

Great point!  IT's good to see so many Vets who still have an invested interest in what's going on.

i learned that their are truly exceptional NCO's and Officers out there that wanna help and mentor. If it wasn't for RP, they wouldn't be able to share their knowledge and experience.

That is a very good point SGT Crowley.  I think for Soldiers who may be experiencing some less than desirable leadership right now; this gives them a look out into the rest of the service to see that there are good leaders out there with knowledge and concern.
We may just be saving someones career here.

I have truly reaped the benefits of receiving guidance from those that have served in prior generations. I receive correction, and I thank God for the input.

I also cherish the insight into the struggles of our junior enlisted. I like being challenged on their perception of how they receive our feedback.

I am thankful that we have the ability to hear different views.

If there is one thing Rally Point is not lacking it is diversity.  I believe this equates to a better learning experience.

I have also learned that I can operate on much less sleep than I previously had thought.  (Going to bed now)
