I separated from the Reserves Last august and want to attempt to reenlist active duty if i can. But i only have a DD214 from when i separated from training and the reserves didn't give me any info or paperwork with it on it. I just wanted to know if anyone knew how i could find this out.

It sounds like you're still in the reserves. You have a lot of terms confused. Your reenlistment eligibility code is on your ERB and affects your reenlistment. You're asking about a RE code which is a reentry code. You won't get an RE code for demobilization from active terms of service in the reserves. You are still a reservist with a contract. You may enlist (not reenlist) into the active component either by finishing your current RC contract and seeing an AD recruiter, or by obtaining a conditional release and seeing and AD recruiter.

SFC is correct, your initial military contract is 8 years for everyone if you enlisted on a 6x8 meaning 6 years of active drilling reserve duty, where you attend one weekend a month, you are still attached in the IRR since your expected drilling time is complete. So basically you are still in the military, after completion of the 8 years you be completely released from any obligation. However at this time you can contact a recruiter and state you currently have a IRR obligation, at which time you may need a conditional release.

SPC Nader Katan you don't get an RE code till after you separate. You're thinking of a Reenlistment Prohibition code, if you have one it usually starts with a 9 and is in the top center of your SRB

Go see the active duty recruiter. He will tell you exactly what you need. If you are separated from the Reserves then you would have a DD214 showing your discharge. If you just have a DD214 from finishing your training then you wouldn’t have an RE code because your not discharged. Unless you did something wrong or had medical issues there shouldn’t be a reason why you would be denied an application to enlist RA. Submitting an application is not the same as being accepted. There could be other seasons for not being accepted like Army end strength, not an MOS in demand, age...
