Why haven’t I received BAH when all of my wife's information is in the system?

If they have her info- yet you have not entered her into the system (DEERS) which is done when she gets her ID card- then she is NOT! In order to be recognized as your wife and a dependent- she has to be in DEERS and have an ID card. Once that is done, then allowances will be forthcoming.

DEEERS. Then go to finance. There's a form to fill out. Appears to be DA 5960 to start, stop or change BAH. Then finance processes it.

PFC (Join to see) - So go back to finance and find out what's going on. They are the only ones who can truly help you in this situation.
Also you need to check DEERS to make sure she's in DEERS too. Go to milconnect. Make sure that's all correct as well. If everything is updated, finance is the only one who can tell you what's going on. How long has it been? When I went in after my daughter was born, they backdated it to when I got married (which was in June and she was born in July). I went in August after she was out of the hospital. Maybe September. I think by the next PD it was in there.

PFC (Join to see) when you say you turned in all paperwork, understand we are not talking through your s-1 section. You need to physically go to the Deers office with your wife, and her documents (marriage certificate, birth certificate and current picture id) and enroll her. IPERMS needs he marriage certificate and the da5960 to start and it takes a couple weeks to hit iperms but she needs to be enrolled in DEERS as well. and putting the documents in one area doesn't carry over to the other.

Well, first, she needs to be registered in DEERS. Next, you need to get the paperwork, I can't remember what it is through the finance office, to start BAH. It doesn't just start up.

But did you submit the paperwork through your S1 or the finance office to get BAH started?
