Reclassing to 27D - does anyone have any suggestions?

I'm an initial term soldier in my reenlistment window. I want to reclass to 27D (balanced mos) by reenlisting. my mos (94E) is overstrengthed. I'm authorized to do this, but a retention nco said there are no open slots for AIT, can anyone confirm this?

Your BN or BDE Career Counselor can look at school dates. But they can only look for a two year fiscal window. With that being said, since the new fiscal year just started they can only look for open class seats between now and September 30th of 2015. There is a strong possibility that there aren't any seats available for that school. It is typically pretty hard to find an open seat when trying to reclass. I would recommend getting with your BN career counselor and asking him for confirmation on seats.

Okay I'll get with MY BN counselor. The NCO I spoke with was another BN's Retention NCO, he told me he'd help me because my unit's NCO was backed up. I honestly don't trust him, so I'm going to see mine tomorrow. Thanks yall.
