What’s daily life like as a 68S regarding hours and job duties?

Any current 68S’s (Preventive Medicine Specialists) out there? I just enlisted and am shipping out soon. I have a degree in public health so I’m coming in as an E-4. Just looking for some current info on what the day to day life is like pertaining to job duties/responsibilities, deployments (frequency, duties, duration), daily hours, etc? What is AIT like? Do you get any certs from AIT? Best duty stations? Is this the best 68 series “feeder” for a 72D (Environmental Science Officer) Commission after initial contract? Any and all info is welcomed. Can’t really find much info on this MOS, especially not current. Thanks!

Hey brother everyone is entitled to their own opinion. If it was me, I would Commission straight off from the beginning. The Army is a complex beast, one medical hiccup and your ineligible, or your broke and can’t run...there’s too many variables

Just came across this request for information. It's been 16 years since I retired as a 68s (it was 91S when I was in), but you will likely work for Environmental Science Officers, so yes. Its a good feeder MOS.
