Research at Stanford University shows that the significant rise in disability coverage for veterans may be hurting them in making employment gains.
He suggests possible reforms, such as time limits for applying, more frequent medical reviews and building job skills among veterans. There are a lot of recruiters on this site and it would be great to hear from them on how this affects their recruiting efforts.

Interesting article. Too bad more veterans are not pursuing work in lieu of the additional disability income. Their experience can be a force multiplier for many different businesses based on their background.
