Good news is that if I was smart enough for the AF, then I would have been smart enough for the Marines...

If you were smart enough for the Marines then why didn't you? Personally, I didn't join the Military, I joined the Marines. There was NO consideration of other branches. Second generation.

We all have our reasons to serve. I followed in my family's footsteps by choosing the Air Force. Plus, I didn't want any boats or ships. No open seas for me, thank you!

Sgt Packy Flickinger, I went AF because both my mom and dad were Marines and told me to join the AF.

If you didn't join the Marines you are not smarter than a Marine.

I believe the Army had the lowest requirements.

MSgt (Join to see) and TSgt Joshua Copeland,

Alright Zoomies, I know you guys know that its all about meeting numbers to fill MOS's and for the most part they will continue to drop score requirements to meet enlistment requirements for certain MOS. And like anything, the more technical the MOS the less likely they are to drop the scores. Also, the Army is the largest service and thus must recruit a lot to meet their needs. Needless to stay, it is still harder to get accepted into the Army than it is to get accepted into College.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!

LTC Paul Heinlein, I am actually curious of how much of a difference both in terms of "intelligence" and more so is sheer number of people qualified between the minimums of each branch.

It was a little different scoring when I took the test in 92. The minimum for the army then was 19, don't know the others.

I got over 4 1/2 times that. ;)
