I graduated my AIT for 35M on 05 AUG 2010 at FT. Huachuca, AZ. I am getting my packet together for promotion to SSG (USAR). One item I need is my MOS orders (must state from HRC not FT. Huachuca). It is to
my understanding that soldiers who graduate their AIT while on Active Duty only receive a certificate, but soldiers who graduate AIT while in the Reserves receive both the certificate and the MOS Orders. I graduated while on AD. I never recieved a copy and I don't have a copy in my Iperms either. I have emailed HRC a couple times already at [login to see] .mil, but have yet to receive a response
back. Any help would be greatly appreciated!

If you wouldn't mind SSG (Join to see), shoot me a note on NIPR with your standard name line and the class and company that you graduated from (copy of your certificate if possible) to my NIPR ( [login to see] ). I'll shoot forward that to OCMI at Fort Huachuca and to the folks at MI Branch for you on Monday. No promises, but I know a few folks and maybe we can drum those up for you.

That is "standard name line" meaning your name, rank, and SSN.

1SG Steven Stankovich - Now I know you're lying! Nobody has ever had friends at OCMI or MI Branch. That's why people get sent to those places, because they have no friends anywhere in the field to assign them with! [half-smile]

SGM (Join to see) thanks for the vote of confidence. ;) I was fortunate to work with a few of the folks at OCMI when I was a 1SG at Huachuca. Always good to make friends and network. I'm sure you can back me up on the merit to that. ;)

1SG Steven Stankovich - Absolutely true! My friends throughout the Army (and Navy and Air Force and Coast Guard) continued to help me when I retired and went to NSA, which had many people from all those services. I don't think I ever worked in an organization at NSA where there weren't at least some military folks working for me. They always appreciated that I could call someone up in their doctrine office, personnel management office, senior leadership, or whoever and get things done. The Sergeant Major in me never went away, I don't think!

This is why I love Rally Point....moreso how NCOs help one another regardless of "If I know you" or not!

I had a similar problem. Prior service with a big gap and lost paperwork (now I save everything). I was able to use my ATARRS transcript to prove my MOS.
