What is the best way to switch from Illinois Army Guard to Illinois Air Guard?

For several reasons, I want to transfer out of the Army National Guard that I have served in for a while now and go to the Air Force National Guard.

I’m not sure if the best way, but go through your chain of command. If they can’t or won’t help you, contact the G1 in Springfield.
