Does my time in grade start over as a E-3 since I was demoted from E-4, or does it continue from the same time in grade before my promotion?

Yes your TIG starts over with the new grade demoted down to. And it's a little hard to take you seriously when you list yourself as "SPC It's Me" as your name.

PFC Tommy Regal - Negative. Think of it like reverse dog years. You get a new TIG clock start when you get promoted, right? Same thing in reverse. It's a new rank (yea, it's a lower one but still a new one), so a new TIG clock starts.
