Anyone have experience with wearing Nike SFBs, Under Armor Jungle Rats, or Oakleys for light, running-shoe-like boots? Preferences?

Personally, I like the SFB but it all depends on which one besfits your foot sir. I went to the boot store and tried all of them on.

Adidas GSG-9 are the way to go. It looked like I had to select one of the responses. I never actually wore the Oakleys, but give the Adidas a look.

If you can find them, the Belleville Kiowa is also a good option for what you described.
