When you salute the American Flag what do you think of?

at work we have the American Flag and Pow Flag flying every morning I salute it before I step in Door It give me the feel of God country past present and future of my Brothers and sisters energy all around me to face what the day brings how do you feel

I think of those that have gone before me. My family is steeped in military tradition. I have direct family who has served this country since the American Revolution. It gives me a sense of pride to know that I followed in my family's tradition and saluting the flag is my way to honor their service.
