it was a great class. The course is set up to give 88M E-6 and E-7 an M9
Identifier. We will be slotted around the Army at Battalion Level. If anybody

Ooh tell me more! The conversation thus far understandably revovles around AC slots - is this also being offered to RC components?

out of the 13 that graduated from my class 8 were from the Guard.

Oh really? That's great. I'll definitely look into how we're offering slots up here. Sounds like a fantastic and much needed program.

It is a new ASI that is being offered to E-6 and E-7 88M. We will be slotted in BCT through out the Army. We are going to have over 200 slots for this ASI and this ASI only.

I have heard about the class for sometime now i need clarity on the the slotting is it a 88M30 slot or will they slot you your  rank. i see you posted E6 and E7.

Currently it is a 88M30 Slot with 7 at Ft. Bragg, 14 at Ft. Hood and 14 at Ft. Bliss.  By the end of the FY there should be 200+ Slots across the spectrum.  The goal is to make it an 88M40 slot also but at this time they have to make baby steps in convincing the other MOS's to give up those slots for us to fill for this ASI in the BCT's and ultimately the FSC's.  That is why the course is open to E6 and E7 for future growth within the ASI.
