An interesting article about the TSA. What should be done about airport security in your opinion?
On Jan. 4, 2010, when my boss saw my letter to the editor in the New York Times, we had a little chat. It was rare for the federal security director at Chicago O’Hare to sit down with her floor-...

Airport Security in general has been just fine in my traveling experiences, and I travel more often them most. There are sour cases which make the news but overall I think the TSA performs their jobs admirably considering how many people come and go and the attention to detail they are forced to have for long hours. As far as a lack of common sense in the TSA leadership and the policymakers for the organization *cough DHS *cough. I think some reform and rewriting could definitely be useful.
I am all for full body scanners, as I am not happy with the 1 in a million chance someone sneaks a bomb on my plane. If it could have been stopped by a scanner, ill strip naked every time to support the idea.

SGT(P) (Join to see) Although they have an important job, I don't care for the way they go about themselves and treat civilians and military. I have heard, read, or seen some things that make me question their procedures. Like the time they searched a toddler for contraband or giving the military going overseas a hassle. Plus the recent headlines on them stealing from people is not too surprising when you see works for them. Not all are doing this but you have the ones who take advantage of their roles and commit these acts. They will get caught.

I've had both good and bad run ins with TSA while in the military.
At times for me they have been very easy going, allowed me to pass through security without taking off my boots or blouse, yet at other times I've been near stripped naked, and then selected for "random searching/ questioning" at another run in where they were just rude and seemed to be harassing me for personal entertainment.
I would say that Generally Airport security and TSA have been fine. I guess I really only had one negative run in back in OKC.
we usually do get some good treatment, moving to the front of lines and on occasion passing through the scan without undressing.
I don't know what I would do to TSA because I don't feel like it is an issue across the entire line-up.
