Traveling to Fort Benning, GA from Columbus airport any transportation recommendations?

I will be attending airborne and need to find transportation to fort Benning. Cadets are not allowed to rent a car. I’ve heard there is groome transportation and ranger cab that can pick up and drop on post.

Groome Transportation, they will pick you up and take you to their terminal where you will pay for your fare, then take you wherever you need to go on post.

Call the schoolhouse, I would bet they have a shuttle going back and worth on the Friday report day

I wish I could help you, 1LT (Join to see), but I can't! In MAR70 I had just finished Infantry AIT at Fort Jackson, SC, and the Army just put us on a bus and we went right to the reception area where we were unceremoniously dumped into the waiting arms of the Black Hats! It wasn't fun!
