Some Democrats interpreted his speech as condescending...I saw it as very articulate, he knows his audience, many of our current Congress have not served, so I thought it was 42 minutes of education our politicians. I wish the POTUS would stand up like this man and call out 'militants Islam', probably not going to happen. I'd like to hear from both sides, those that opposed his speech and why, and from those that found it refreshing to hear another leader praise America and also hearing a real leader openly condemn 'radical Islam'. I think he did a great job conveying his concerns while also warning of what is coming and why...

I'm not a fan of Netanyahu, I'd prefer to see a more moderate PM in Israel. I believe Herzog of the Zionist Union coalition would be a win for both Israel and the region.

I agree with you, SSG(P) (Join to see). I did not see the entire speech, just the highlights, but I still agree. I am a huge fan of Prime Minister Netanyahu. I remember when he was losing elections in Israel. Even back then I thought he was the right man for the job of leading Israel. He's tough, and I think that's just what Israel needs. I like his straight talk. As he said, for us Iran's nuclear threat is something of an academic question, but to Israel it's a threat to their survival. That resonates with me. His speech clarified the Iranian threat for me.

Why some liberals blasted him for his condescending tone was beyond me...I guess I am too militant to resonate with liberals.

at the end of the day I feel the SMA Chandler implemented policies according to his own dislikes. every NCO has they pet peeves but at the big army level your pet peeves should never drive your decisions it should be the good of the enlisted base. the era of do as I say not as I do is over. this new army calls for a diverse mentality and I felt the he told that but did the total opposite. just off top the new SMA has me looking forward to seeing what he does to help us as enlisted and give us a voice..
