What is the role of 25n in a Rangers Battalion?

What is the role of a 25n in the 75th Ranger Battalion? Will use combat or go on patrols? I'd like to have balance in my job not be cooped up inside and not always outside but I'll do what I need to do.

The role of a 25N in Ranger BN is the same as a 25N at BN level in any kind of BN, working in the BN S6 section, running and maintaining the network, and occasionally helping the 25Qs and 25Us in your S6 section.
