I was told; by my recruiter, that a conditional release will release me to active duty for the remainder of of military contract. How true is that??

It is not for the remainder of the military contract. If and when the Conditional Release is granted, you end up signing a whole new contract since you are going Active Duty. The new contract will have the number of years you are to serve.

PV2 (Join to see) - yeah got it. There is urgency on your part which may or may not help your RC unit's strength management which is the likely reason it gets slow rolled or disapproved.
