Can anybody please point me in the right direction for finding where it states the exact wear of TA50. More specifically, if the soldiers are still issued the AUC pattern stuff do or can they wear OCP pattern nametapes, rank, all that stuff. Tired of reading the same things that just say AUC is out Oct 2019 when the soldiers are still getting the AUC pattern gear from CIF

Wear of TA 50 is usually covered in the unit TACSOP. Most units will use common sense when transitioning uniform patterns (like it doesn't really matter if the pattern of the name tape matches the pattern of the TA 50 - why make Joe go buy extra name tapes?) But not every unit treats thes things the same way. The only real thing that isn't up to unit TACSOP when it comes to wear of TA 50 is they can't require you to utilize equipment you haven't neen issued (like requiring an ALICE pack when you have MOLLE gear or requiring your TA 50 match your ACUs even if you were issued a different pattern).

Have seen the Alaract from USAEurope, it states that UCP or OCP name tapes may be used on OCIE but not uniform items. CIF is your differential. If I had a copy, I would post it. Hope that helps.

Installations stuck in transition have a local policy to govern where they are at.

SSG (Join to see), the ALARACT covering this is 071/2019. You’ll need a CAC reader handy to open the pdf in the link:
