I’ve only pcs’d once conus to conus. If you are authorized 4 travel days do you need to utilize all of those days in order to recieve the maximum per diem for the trip? What reciepts need to be turned it? Other tips?

Maximum per diem, sounds like you are trying to milk it. Use the days required to make the move safely within days allowed.

Be absolutely safe in your travels and take all the time needed but in reality no you don’t need to. The army states you shouldn’t drive more than 350 miles in one day. Do people really listen to that? No they don’t. You will still get the max travel days authorized. If anyone asks you took the full amount of travel days. Those 4 days will not be charged against you at all. But most important thing is to stay safe and stop if you need to stop.
