Indiana built a CMH memorial that is interactive. It was an awesome expereince to visit and see. If you ever get a chance to visit Indianapolis, stop by the memorial and take a few minutes to pay your respects.

I know that that the recipients of the Medal of Honor are buried all over the place it just seems that with so many being buried at Arlington you would think that it would be in close proximity to the cemetery. Also I wonder what the National Medal of Honor Museum of Military History in Chattanooga, TN has to say about this. I do like the ideal of a federal funded museum just not so sure on the location. I get the the MoH society is located there and the USS Yorktown just seems like Arlington should be the spot as it better represents the sacrifice that so many others have paid.

SPC David S., it is at a place called Patriot Point where they have several ships already on display, but I fully agree that somewhere near Arlington or (as I said earlier) the National Mall would be a better location. It would be great to go from CMH museum to tomb of the unknown soldier.

It is a military "Hall of Fame" the real heros. I mean there is a hall of fame for everything else, but this time it is something meaningful. These are people who left their mark risking and often sacrificing their lives for something greater than themselves.
