Why does it take so long for a RO to complete a decision that the BVA has made. Veterans waits 5 to 10 on there appeals to be viewed by the BVA but once a decision is made the Veterans have to wait again in line for the RO to complete the grant that the BVA decided on. The RO is quick to finish up the decision of it’s a denial but if it’s a grant you may wait 6 months to a year or more to receive your granted benefits.

You right I am aware of that but what I don’t understand is that I had to different appeals. One was granted and a different appeal was denied. They told me it’s based on the work load at the RO but that can’t be right do to the fact that the RO closed out the denial with in 1 week but the granted one has been in the works since for ever even though I received the granted decision months before I got a denial decision on the second appeal

Have you done a face to face visit with the VA. It's easy to dismiss someone over the phone or computer.
