Long story short, Just moved here from Texas for graduate school, also doing ROTC. Getting the run around pretty much and need to find a slot soon to get my full refund from school. Paying out of state tuition currently, once I find a unit my school said they will give me the difference if I can provide them with new orders. Local leadership hasn’t been too helpful.

Thanks

SPC(P) (Join to see) here is an email for a CSM I know. He was my 1SG down in Honduras. VERY VERY knowledgeable and helpful SNCO. He is the BN CSM for the 450th CA (Airborne) in MD. He would be my go to for your question. His email is:

Tell him I referred you to him.

SPC(P) (Join to see) - If he doesn't know the answer, he will find it or send you to the person that does know it. He DOES NOT give lip service, EVER.

SPC Brandy Mincey if the contacts previously provided I’d suggest looking into the University of North Georgia’s military department. They should have some good contacts. Units in your area in the reserve are 431st QM Co in Fort Valley, GA. They’re a rigger unit. The 352nd CSB formerly Maintenance Battalion and the 377th QM Co I believe bulk is still in Dublin, GA. At the old FT Gillem location there’s still the 1015th Maintenance Co. All reserve units. I’m not current enough on GAARNG units to tell you

I really couldn’t imagine any unit not taking a SMP... It does hurt a unit to have a Cadet and SMPs make good coffee getters for the CO.
