So I was recently, medically separated from active duty. Once out we moved back near my hometown to Kittery Maine. Does anyone know of any groups of veterans active in the southern Maine area. Once I get a chance I will do a deeper search myself, but I'm looking to get involved with the community in my area. Any suggestions?

VFW (If you have a campaign medal) or the American Legion.
After doing a Google maps search I found that there is a VFW in Portsmouth, NH and a American Legion in Elliot, Kittery and York. You can also go on their respective websites and search by zip code I believe.
