So, tomorrow is Mother's Day, what do the Moms out there really want? Every year when the time comes for Mother's Day my wife always tells me she wants a day off, not even a full day just an afternoon. Every year I try to leave the house empty for a bit and she always ends up cleaning around the house. I have tried cleaning up befor I take the kids out and she always finds something. She never complains and always seems happy. Am I a terrible husband. We usually go out for breakfast in the morning and the kids, all still under 8 make her something. What do the moms out the think? Advise?

It's been 7 years and nobody answered you. I'm so sorry about that. Lol
As a mom all I want is a day ALONE honestly. Just send her away somewhere. Book a hotel for the night and a spa day to go with it. You stay home with the kids and do all chores and become mom for the day/night. That way when she comes home it's not her coming back into a dump and chaos. That's all we want. Ever.
