My flight packet was submitted a few weeks ago and I already have the corrections sent back to the WO recruiting company. The email I got back said that my packet is now "at proponent pending qualification." What exactly does this mean? I have two waivers - the AFS because I have 15 years AFS, as well as an age wavier because I am over 32 (I'm 33). Does proponent process these waivers and then get back to me to let me know if they are approved or denied? I have been trying to find other threads that discuss this, so if anyone has the answer or can point me in that direction it would be appreciated.

Assuming your packet is good, you'll be fine. I had an AFS waiver for 11 yrs TIS. You'll be on a 10yr ADSO now if picked up, which tells you a lot about how far the Army is willing to go to up its numbers. You should receive an email about 2 or 3 days prior to the board opening saying you are board ready, if not, email proponent and ask. Good Luck! I just started common core last week so feel free to hit me up if you have any questions

I had an AFS waiver for my packet. Your proponent looks over the waiver and recommends to HRC approve or disapprove based on if they will accept you with the conditions that require waiver. Proponent lets HRC know and the Approval authority decides from the Proponent's decision. Then the packet either goes to the Board (approved) or doesn't (disapproved).
Flight being as it is these days - short-handed but picky about age, did you submit for any other MOS' as well? One Proponent may say no while another says yes and then you'll still move on to the approved MOS.

This was the answer I was really looking for. I did not submit for 350F (or any other MOS), which is what I would have fed into. Honestly, it's flight or bust. I do not want to be a 350F. No disrespect to All-Source Tech's, but I have wanted to fly since I was a PVT and that's where my heart is - whether I make it or not. I'm healthy and I am making that commitment for the 10 year ADSO. I'm optimistic but I do realize that nothing is guaranteed. We'll see what happens!

SFC (Join to see) - worse comes to worst drop an attache packet, and after your first embassy drop a Warrant packet.
There's always 880A and 881A if you really wanna be a Warrant but not intel...but they only board once a year

WO1 Ricardo Eva - I'll this keep this thread, as well as my options open. I rarely post, but this was something that has been on my mind since receiving the last email from the recruiting company. I appreciate all the great feedback.
