Wish I could vote for both of Dan Carlin's Podcasts but I got to give it to Hardcore History. Can someone explain how I mention someone in a post in bold so they get points? Thanks

1LT (Join to see) you put an "@" at the beginning of their name like so #Alexander McBride but replace # with @.

And yeah, both of Dan Carlin's shows are great. For people starting on Common Sense I would start with the earliest available episode. I really liked this one, it puts a lot of perspective on current riots and tensions in cities. And on surveillance of American Citizens.

My daily podcast is the Adam Carolla show. My big weekly ones is Penn's Sunday School & Titus Armageddon Update.

I like to laugh. I like to listen to other people vent. It's a release, and these folks make it fun.

Serious "news" makes me angry, but comedians, satirists, etc help cut the edges off, and I'm able to take the tidbits of news they present and dive into the stories and conduct my own research from there.

What I like about the Carolla show is that he has a variety of guests. It's a non-traditional "radio" show, and he's had everyone from Ted Cruz to Walter O'Brien on.

Screenshot? Links to the recommended podcasts? That Titus Armageddon Update sounds interesting, and what is Penn's Sunday School about? Any suggestion on which episode is good to start on for any of them?

Capt Richard I P. As for starting episode, you can dive right in to any of these and you'll be fine, however Titus is probably best to start with e1, just because you get a feel for it better. It's more of an angry rant, with a touch of humor.

Penn's Sunday School is just him talking about a variety of topics. It takes place every Sunday (hence the name). If you're familiar with Penn Jillette, he's an outspoken Libertarian, but I listen to it more because he's funny, and he presents some great view points and he's not self aggrandizing.
