I think it shows they are stepping up to show support but wonder how it resonates with other vets. It's kind of like American Idol (or one of those shows) for veterans, and the grand prize is a 7-Eleven franchise. Seems like a great idea and a fair way to award a veteran.

7-Eleven is already vet-friendly: "7-Eleven was selected a 2014-15 'Best for Vets' franchise by Military Times, as well as a Top 100 Military-Friendly Employer by GI Jobs, one of U.S. Veterans Magazine Top 100 Veteran-Friendly Companies and a MVE (Most Valuable Employer) by civilianjobs.com." This just adds to their vet-friendly reputation, in my opinion.Response by CW5 Private RallyPoint Member made Nov 17 at 2014 10:34 AM2014-11-17T10:34:14-05:002014-11-17T10:34:14-05:00Sgt Randy Hill361881

I support the idea of entrepreneurship for those who are able.
