I suggest to set up housing for them, just nice little apartments. The results may not be good giving them money and trusting them to do it themselves.

You are missing the point as us the VA. Some vets can't handle it anymore and rather be homeless.

I have always felt PTSD, other mental challenges, and chemical dependency are challenges for “normal lives”. They must get out hell first.
