I currently go to Korea on July 3rd and my ets date is August 19th 2024. Will I be sent back state side? If not I want to use my ets days to leave early because I want to start school next year on time. Any advice? Knowledge? Or regulations that can help? Will I have to pay for my flight back home?

You must have six months remaining on your contract after your DEROS in order to be sent back to the states to ETS. You can either extend your contract those six months now and ETS stateside, or you'll ETS in Korea and fly back to your home of record. The Army will always pay to move you home when you ETS.

Likely state side. I took some college classes while there. Nowadays, lots cheaper than here. you can get your basic classes out of the way. I didn't have to pay as I finished up at Ft.Bliss.
