IF the answer is yes, well then, Come aboard!
We are military. Our minds run 100 miles an hour, every single day. I don't think I know one person who could tell me that they feel absolutely rested when they get up in the morning. Well, unless you own a Serta and then I am just Jealous.
"With today’s stressful lifestyles involving heavy work schedules, hectic social lives and busy families, it’s you may find yourself thankful for any rest you manage to fit in. Your brain, unsurprisingly, feels the same way.
You may not experience any symptoms, however your brain may also tell it needs a rest. You could experience headaches, sensitivity to lights or sounds, a loss of concentration or even simply feel tired.
If that’s the case, you’re in need of some downtime.
Our brains are preoccupied by work for a high percentage of the week, so it’s no wonder things can begin to pile up and make us feel stressed. However, although many believe that working longer hours will be more productive, this is unlikely to be true if your brain is feeling overworked."
SO, Here are 4 (four) ways that you can rest that brain!!
I think I am going to have to try #1 at work. See if I can get away with "but I need to rest that membrane." LOL

Of course all the time. When my brain is in neutral it also effects my hearing. There are many times when the wife says, "Can't you hear what I am saying to you?" All I can reply is , "Hu?" Then I get a rendition of I'm not listening to her. Women just don't understand when we're in neutral drive.

I can agree that we don't. Our mind is on over-drive 24/7.
Girl: What you thinking about?
Guy: Nothing.
Girl: You must've been thinking about something. You have been staring off into space. I have been trying to talk to you. You must be thinking about someone that you don't want me to know about. Do you have another woman on the side? HUH!?
Bet I nailed it. SGM Mikel Dawson

Yes, rest is part (a very important and often overlooked part) of a daily fitness program. I it is important to find constructive ways to relieve stress and pressure. SGT (Join to see) Sleep is always the most often overlooked fitness necessity.

It really is. I mean, I LOVE MY DUGHTER! I love her. Couldn't and Wouldn't want to live without her. But when she goes to daddies on the weekend... That 3 days, man... I don't think I see the outside of the house. I rest ALL weekend. "But momma. I wanna stay cuz I don't want you to be alone." "Baby, sometimes momma needs to be alone. Believe me. I am fine."
