I know it is only a proposal but something to keep an eye on. I used all of my benefits under VEAP so it is not going to help me.

Sir, I have not heard of it to date. Like most, the word Entrepreneurial seems to me to require money to be able to use it or start it. I have always thought about business where one works for self and employs others in the world of small business, I hope it works if it helps us all transition.

I started a businesses as part of my MBA since we had to do all the work anyways to I figured it was worth a try. It was not very hard to set up and get registered on SAMS as a SDVOSB. Problem is work, in order to get work on the federal or state side you have to have experience. Like the chicken before the egg thing. In any case my current job is going well so I have not spent a lot of time trying to figure out how to make it a "profitable" business.

I have the same sticking point...in order to get my small business up, I need $$$$, but in order to get those $$$, I need to do some business! Ugh....my other problem is that the business is considered small (less than 50 employees), but the start-up cost is corporate size ($115 million). So messing around the VC, loans, and Shark Tank style solutions has caused me to put the whole thing off.

LCDR (Join to see) Adding flexibility to the Post-9/11 is a great thing for folks who prefer to work verses formal education.
