While I was stationed in Germany from 81-87, I worked the military club circuit as a DJ after duty. Out of about 250 clubs, I performed in about 147 of them. The photo is a shot of me onstage in March 1986 in Kornwestheim at the Kulturehalle for a Army retirement party.<br /><br />My favorite 80s bands included Duran Duran, The Smiths, The The, BAP (a German band from Koln), Van Halen, Accept, Human League, Thompson Twins, The Police, David Bowie, Simple Minds, Prince, Run D.M.C., The Cars, Alabama, David Allan Coe, Hank Jr., and way too many more to list here. Hammer, Garth Brooks, New Edition (and subsequently Bell Biv Devoe), Whitesnake, Vanilla Ice (yeah, I said it!), Pearl Jam, Michael Jackson, Alanis Morrissette, Guns n Roses, Bon Jovi, Kid n Play, Dire Straits, Tupac, Randy Travis, Huey Lewis &amp; the News, Beastie Boys, Janet Jackson, Poison, Nirvana, Eminem (career started in the 90's I think), Dave Mathews Band, Boys 2 Men, Journey. <br /><br />That's enough.
