RP Book Club: Pines - Blake Crouch (Wayward Pines Book 1)

This is a little different than my usual recommendations. This series is currently running as an adaptation on TV, however the novel(s) has more military themes associated with it.

If you are watching the TV series, which is good, I would definitely recommend the books. The differences range from subtle to extreme.

One notable difference is the protagonist's history. He is a former Warrant Officer Helicopter pilot (in addition to being Secret Service). This background adds some depth as the story progresses.
