I checked on AR 670-1 and PAM as well, It explains how to wear it but nowhere does it say if it can be worn on Class B. Does anyone have any insight for both Male and Female wear?

SSG (Join to see) I have seen it done. You put it on just as you would on the jacket. However, AR 670-1, 29-19 c states "The German Marksmanship Award (Schuetzenschnur) is authorized for wear only by enlisted personnel. Officers may accept, but may not wear the Schuetzenschnur. If authorized, personnel wear the award on the right side of the uniform coat, with the upper portion attached under the center of the shoulder loop, and the bottom portion attached under the lapel to a button mounted specifically for wear of this award. So with that said, I have seen them on Class Bs but 670-1 only says for wear on coats.

Thanks SGM, I decided that it is best not to wear it to avoid weird looks.

SSG (Join to see) - That is probably a good call until you can dig in the regs and get a definitive answer.

So far I have seen one officer wear it. He was enlisted when he got it and thought it would carry over. He stopped wearing it when it ws questioned.

b. The German Marksmanship Award (Schuetzenschnur) is authorized for wear only by enlisted personnel. Officers may accept, but may not wear, the Schuetzenschnur. These are the instructions for wear for the wear of this award. It specifies it will be worn on the coat. There are no instructions for how it is to be worn on the Class B's because it is not worn on the Class B's. We wear Foreign Awards in the same fashion as the awarding nation, and in Germany it is worn on the coat only.
